Our story

The Guerillascope story began in 2001 with three entrepreneurs. Frustrated by the rigid exclusivity of a TV market sculpted by Advanced Booking deadlines and sales house share deals, our founders resolved to develop a new type of TV advertising agency: one that would disrupt the status quo and democratize access to the marketplace for more businesses than ever before.

With the digital switchover driving a proliferation in smaller, niche TV channels available to TV viewers, we identified an opportunity to bring a new, targeted approach to the planning and buying of television airtime. This, along with our focus on flexibility, optimisation, transparency and independence, forms the core of our founding principles, the heart of our business. Combined, they produce a service honed through many years of experience to make TV advertising budgets work harder.

We’ve come a long way since 2001; such a long way, in fact, that we’re now the UK and Ireland’s leading independent TV advertising agency by number of clients on air – launching campaigns for 96 brands in 2016 alone.
